September 2023 Issue Now Available

The September issue includes four papers on detection of fake news and phishing attempts.  These papers provide some insight into the effectiveness of automated systems to identify malicious activity on the Internet.

As usual, there is a wide variety of papers in the issue.  There are, for example, two papers on using Google Location data to track the spread of COVID-19 and to identify hotspots for infection.  Many papers use Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques to examine large datasets for specific features.

The Biography section contains an obituary for Harry S. Wragge AM, a former head of Telecom Research Laboratories in Australia.
